My name is Stéphanie Rondeau and I am the Program Support Teacher at École J.H.Sissons School. I work with all teachers and all students from PK to Grade 5.

Born and raised in Québec, I obtained my diploma in Education from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver in December 2014.  After my graduation, I taught for one year in a private school in Québec, and then I made the move to Yellowknife to continue my teaching career. 

Altogether, I have been working for Yellowknife District # 1 for 14 years. I taught Grade 2 for 5 years, and then I was fortunate enough to be a loan of service to the Ministry of National Defense to teach French as a First Language in the Netherlands for 3 years in an International School. I have already been back in Yellowknife for nearly 6 years, in which I taught Grade 3 and 4, and now I am into my fourth year of being a Program Support Teacher. 

I am a friendly and dynamic person who is passionate about children's literacy, the world, and traveling.  When I am not in school, I enjoy being active at the gym, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
