Hello! My name is Stephanie Hendrix, and I am excited to be a part of the NJM team! I am a new teacher, this year (2019/2020) will be my second year teaching, but my first year at NJ. I am originally from Waterdown, Ontario and completed a BA in Honors Psychology at Laurier University, in Waterloo, Ontario, along with a BEd at Western University in London, Ontario. I have lived in Yellowknife on-and-off going on three years and love it! My partner and I decided to move up for his career and we both fell in love with the North. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, camping, traveling and playing softball in the summers! As a teacher, my passion is building community in the classroom, developing strong relationships with my students and working with individuals with exceptionalities.
