My name is Kelsey MacNeil, but the kids call me Ms. Mac! My husband and I are both teachers, having taught in Northern Alberta we moved to the North five years ago chasing adventure. We have since had two children here and absolutely love all that the North has to offer. I have taught homeroom grades two through six, and have worked as a Program Support Teacher for the past three years. After spending the majority of my time at Mildred Hall School, I am very excited to be starting at NJM and getting to know all of you! Having just completed my Masters in children's mental health, I have a passion for this area, as well as social emotional learning, and teaching strategies such as mindfulness, self-regulation, and interoception. You can usually catch me outside hiking, biking, and participating in, as well as coaching sports. I look forward to working with you and your children this year!
