I have worked at Sir John since 2001. My husband Sean and I moved to Yellowknife in 1989, and I have worked at JH Sissons, NJ Mcpherson, Range Lake North and William McDonald Schools before settling at Sir John. I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have worked in libraries since I was 16 years old. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (painting major), as well other post secondary courses in education, folklore and mythology, and storytelling. Both of my children are Sir John Franklin grads. I volunteer with the Fine Arts events at Sir John (concerts and plays) and do a lot of painting and decorating each year for Grad. I really enjoy all the painting I do for Sir John. It's the only place I paint where my canvases are 3 metres tall, and often 6-9 metres wide!
