I moved to the NWT in 1991. I attended both École William MacDonald and École Sir John Franklin schools. I acquired my Red Seal Endorsement in Automotive Service at NAIT. I worked under this endorsement for 16 years before I started teaching the Mechanics program at Sir John in 2013. In addition to teaching, I coach the Automotive Skills Club through Skills Canada and have taken students to the Canadian Skills National Competition (CSNC) for Automotive since 2014. I am the Co-Tech chair for Automotive with CSNC in the NWT. I help develop the testing criteria as well as set up and judge the Automotive Territorial Skills Competition. I love the outdoors and spending time camping, fishing and snowmobiling with my wife and two sons.
