I was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Yellowknife when I was in grade 4. Living in Yellowknife for this many years has been an amazing experience. I attended The University of Lethbridge and have had the honour of teaching most of the grade levels from kindergarten to grade eight. I have two children of my own, in grades one and two who come to school with me each and every morning. I love being a mother as well as being a teacher - children have the amazing talent of getting into our hearts and teaching us the things we never knew we never knew.
