Apr 25 - Michael Gilday visits JHS

Michael Gilday, a former Yk1 French Immersion student, visited JHS school on April 17, 2014.  He shared his Olympic experience and talked  to the students about the benefits of learning to speak French.  It was an exciting day for the school!

Feb 11 - 75th Anniversary Banner Unveiling

YK1 unveiled their 75th Anniversary banner today with a celebration outside of the Log Cabin school house beside Mildred Hall School.  YK1 Trustees and staff we joined by Mayor Mark Heyck, MLA's Robert Hawkins and Daryl Dolynny and approximately 50 students from Mildred Hall School.
