Godi Enı̨thł’è - 2 au 9 juin, 2023

Thank you for staying up-to-date on the latest school news. Please remember that there is no school on Monday, June 5th. Classes resume at the regular time on Tuesday, June 6th. Here is what we have in other school news...
Bike Safety Presentations
On Tuesday June 6th, the team from the Municipal Enforcement Department will be visiting our school to offer bike safety presentations to our classes. The presentations start at 8:45 and will take place in the school gym. Thanks very much to Mme Jasmine for organizing this opportunity for our students!
School Spirit Week and Multicultural Day
We are planning a school spirit week for June 12th to 16th inclusive. We hope this advance notice gives everyone plenty of time to get out their gear and show their school spirit. Here is the schedule for the week:
- Monday June 12th - Backwards Day
- Tuesday June 13th - Sunglasses Day
- Wednesday June 14th - Rainbow Day (With a Rainbow Dance at 11:50 on the school terrace courtesy of Mme Ashley and the Rainbow Club)
- Thursday June 15th - Beach Day
- Friday June 16th - Multicultural Day
For Multicultural Day we are encouraging students to wear traditional clothing, as there will be a school-wide parade to highlight our school’s cultural mosaic in the gym at 8:45 am. Mr. Arts will invite all classes to come to the gym after his morning announcements.
In years past, our school hosted a school-wide feast; however, in light of the many allergies that exist school-wide and for the safety of all students, we are encouraging each class to organize their own classroom celebrations. Each class can celebrate in their own unique way, which may include hosting a class-wide feast, including family recipes and/or traditional foods, and sharing meaningful objects or sotires with classmates.
Plant Sale Tomorrow, June 3rd!
Our plant sale will take place tomorrow morning Saturday June 3 from 10am-12pm at the school. Please stop by to support our school's fundraiser. We have a variety of plants to sell including daisies, bell peppers, sunflowers and mint! Everything is priced at $5 and above and payment is by cash or e-transfer.
Reminder - Breakfast Program Volunteers
We are always on the lookout for volunteers for our breakfast program. If you can help us out on a weekday morning between 7:45 and 8:30, please take a look at the PAC's sign-up sheet and consider volunteering. We appreciate your help!
