Here is the information and events for this week.
Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteer from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
*** A reminder that JK students are welcomed to attend breakfast club however must be accompanied by a parent or adult.***
NWT Track & Field Championships - Hay River
The annual Track and Field championship is from June 4th, 5th and 6th in Hay River. Parents are responsible for all transportation and accommodations for their children. Like last year, there will be coache(s) on site but parents must accompany their kids.
Here is the schedule for practices:
Spring Concert - Thursday May 21st at 6:30 PM
Grade 2/3, 3, 4 & 5 classes will be presenting at the Spring concert Thursday, Mary 21st. The doors open at 6:10 PM and concert starts at 6:30PM.
Bike Safety
RCMP members will be visiting our school on Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23 to present about Bike Safety. It is always a good idea to have those bike safety conversations with your children especially if they are biking to and from school.
Track and Field Info Session - Wednesday, may 28th @ 5:15PM
Mme Ashley and I will be hosting an info session for any parents attending the Track and Field competition in Hay River (June 4-5-6). Session will be on Wednesday, May 28th in the library at 5:15PM.
School Dance - Friday, May 30th
The PAC is organizing another dance on Friday, May 30th from 6 to 8PM. They are looking for volunteers in baking goodies, chaperones, admission table and the cash at the canteen. Please sign up here if you can help out!
