In 2013, Ms. Budgell completed degrees in both Education and Visual Arts from the University of Lethbridge. Her first job was teaching Kindergarten and she fell in love with inquiry, play based learning and working with little ones. She has been teaching for five years now, and this is her second year teaching grades 1/2 in the Montessori program, and also her second year here at NJ Macpherson.
In addition to teaching others, she is always trying to further her own education and knowledge through reading, conferences and taking courses directly related to early childhood education. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures, music, nature, museums, and creating and learning about art.
