My name is Randy Caines and I hail from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I received a Master of Education Degree from Saint Francis Xavier University and both a Physical Education Degree and an Education Degree from Dalhousie University. I began teaching at Chief Jimmy Bruneau School in Behchoko, NT. During my three years there I gained valuable experience, insight and met many wonderful people. I then moved to Yellowknife where I have been teaching for the past 22 years. During that time I have had the opportunity to work with many fantastic students and staff members. I am currently a Vice Principal, PE teacher, Multi-sport instructor and the Gymnastics Academy coordinator at N.J. Macpherson School. I enjoy all aspects of teaching and I am proud to be part of Yellowknife Education District No. 1.
