My name is Helen Wong and I will be teaching grade 5. I am beyond excited about returning back to NJM! I have previously taught grade 5 at NJM for four consecutive years. Following that, I taught Math and Science at the high school level. I am currently pursuing my masters of Education specializing in Educational Neuroscience and Collaborative Creativity for Social Innovation. My passion for teaching has grown tremendously over the years. I believe in building strong relationships with the students, hands-on learning, and teaching through an inquiry based approach where students' learning is driven by their own curiosity. I am looking forward to seeing what this year has in store!
