My name is Shaun Doherty and I am originally from Lennoxville, Quebec. I have lived in the NWT for the past 11 years. The majority of those years were spent in the beautiful community of Deline. My Bachelors of Education from Queen’s University is focused on Aboriginal Education. I will be teaching Phys-ed, CALM, Northern Studies and Sports school. I’m excited to be teaching at Sir John, as well as living back in Yellowknife again. I will be coaching basketball and hopefully a few other sports programs at school. When I’m not working at school, I’m spending time with my wife raising our amazing twins.
