Hello, my name is Jeremy Kielstra. I am a math teacher here at Sir John this year. Previously, I taught English, Social Studies and CALM at K'alemi Dene School in Ndilo. Before moving to Yellowknife, I lived in Fort Providence where I taught mostly math for seven years. In my last year in Fort Providence, I was also the Assistant Principal. After a year of teaching in the humanities, I am very excited to return to my passion of teaching math. Outside of school I enjoy playing and coaching racquet sports. I coach badminton and table tennis; I play badminton, table tennis and squash. I also love listening to podcasts and have been known to start many a conversation with, "In a podcast I recently listened to, I learned..." If you ever see me walking around with headphones in, you can make my day by asking my what I'm listening to.
