Hi! I'm happy to be teaching music here at Mildred Hall this year. While I am new to MHS, I have been with YK1 for 8 years, teaching Kindergarten to grade 4 classes and music to students in Junior Kindergarten to grade 8. After graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education, I worked in Halifax and Ottawa before moving to Yellowknife in 2010. Outside of school I co-direct the Fireweed Children's Chorus, and love spending time with my family, building lego, reading and baking.
