Music News

The music department has a new addition!  In early June, a gigantic box arrived in the music room.  A Yamaha baby grand piano was ordered from Edmonton and shipped to the school and a crew from DC Moving unpacked the piano and set it up. 

The inaugural performance was held in August. Grade 9 student Keira Clinton, who was preparing for her Royal Conservatory grade 10 piano exam  performed a 40 minute recital for family and friends.  Ms. Shantora is excited to be using it every day in her classes and welcomes students to come and try it out.
