The 2022 Wade Hamer Challenge Cup is today!
The 2022 Wade Hamer Challenge Cup will be held today (November 23, 2022) starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Ed Jeske Arena. This marks the first time since February 2020 that École Sir John Franklin High School and École St. Patrick High School have been able to host friendly girls' and boys' hockey games between the schools. Students and staff are excited for the big event! Bus trips to the arena will be available for students at 12:20 and 12:40 p.m., leaving from the front doors of the school. Game programs will be handed out at the arena entrance. Students watching the game are asked to sit on the side bleachers in their respective section while members of the public are asked to sit at the end section of the arena.
Student Schedule (SJF)
- Period: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Break: 9:30 to 9:35 a.m.
- Period 2: 9:35 to 10:35 a.m.
- Break: 10:35 to 10:40 a.m.
- Period 3: 10:40 to 11:00 a.m.
- Pep Rally: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Lunch Break: 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
- Girls' Game Start Time: 1:10 p.m.
- Boys' Game Start Time: 2:40 p.m.
Students will be dismissed for the day from the arena. If students decide to leave during the games they will not be able to return into the arena.
